Even if you dont care about the competitive aspect of a for fun mode, it's still stupid to encourage the top ranks to exploit the system to ruin low ranked games, instead of competing with other top players And also impossible to overtake them since they can just spam games against low ranks and not care if they lose aslong as they're winning most of them ![]() ![]() I really liked arena gameplay but it was kind of cringe my duo and I never matched up against a huge portion of top100 because they were only fresh account duoq abusing and they would never be in our games because of that. So if you ever wondered how all these random people would get 90% winrates in arena that's how, except for a few really good players who queued normally And to make it worse you would match up against noobs since one of your accounts is brand new level 30 low rating. U only get 20 per win either way so it doesnt matter. however you can completely bypass this by duo queuing with someone with low LP (like a fresh level 30 smurf.) and then you will only lose 20 points per loss no matter what (if you got 4th place queuing on two high rated accs u can lose 100+ points). Basically the higher your LP the less points u get for a win and the more points u get for a loss. But nobody seems to talk about how broken the ladder/queue system was especially for top100. I played a lot of arena this summer and it seems alot of people enjoyed it.
